Visions of the Future: The Global Exhibition

The Visions of the Future Global Exhibition brings together young people’s artwork depicting their hopes and fears for the future.

The exhibition draws on nearly 1000 drawings, poems, stories and images from children in 28 countries, across six continents shared with WriteUnite over the past year.

It constitutes a powerful, brilliant and beautiful testimony as to how the next generation really feel about the world as it is today and highlights how they want it to be in the future, emphasising shared experiences such as climate change, mental health, race and gender, and peace and harmony.

Click below to enter the virtual exhibition - there are four rooms so be sure to visit them all! This is best viewed on desktop rather than mobile and may take a moment to load - we promise it’s worth the wait!

From the Page to the Pavement

Submissions from 32 young people were displayed on street corners, at bus stops and stations and at shopping malls in 10 cities across the globe to coincide with World Children’s Day on the 20th November 2022.

Virtual Art Gallery

We have also curated a virtual gallery where anyone can take a digital tour, showcasing the artwork of over 100 young people.

The Visions of the Future Book

If you would like to see every submission we received, a brand-new and updated digital edition of the book is available free to download.

As part of the Global Exhibition we were excited to work with BEAM Education Foundation in Thailand and English Language Studio Anglia in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

These resulted in over 150 fantastic submissions that we have added to the revised digital edition of the Visions of the Future book, and some appear on street corners and in the virtual art gallery.

We also decided to create two dedicated digital galleries to celebrate the work with these wonderful young people.
