What is WriteUnite

We’re a non-profit on a mission to make sure young people across the globe can express their thoughts and feelings, and be heard. We work with young people around the world to gather their ideas, hopes and dreams about global issues and then publish them for the world to see.

What is your latest project?

All of our projects involve creating a platform for young people to be heard and right now we are working on creating a global exhibition on street corners around the globe of young people’s visions of the future.

We have at least 10 spots around the world on which to display young people’s Visions of the Future as part of our global exhibition in November over World Children’s Day.

Why do you need personal information?

The personal data provided will be used for the purposes of delivering the Global Exhibition and WriteUnite’s work to amplify the voices of young people around the world, in accordance with WriteUnite’s Privacy Policy.

WriteUnite will use the contact details provided by the responsible adult making the submissions to send general updates as to the progress of the publication by email.

I’ve sent in my submission – when will I hear back?

Unfortunately we are unable to come back to everyone but we will contact you with information once the Global Exhibition has launched and our online gallery is live.

If you sign up to our newsletter, you can expect regular updates!

When and where will the Global Exhibition take place?

The exhibition will take place in November 2022 to coincide with World Children’s Day. We will have least 10 submissions displayed around the world on billboards and bus stops.

To find out more, visit our Global Exhibition page here.

Will every submission be included in the Global Exhibition?

We wish every single submission could be in the final exhibition but we just won’t have the space! So submissions will be displayed on an online exhibition running alongside at least 10 submissions displayed around the world on billboards and bus stops.

Who will decide which submissions will be included in the Global Exhibition?

The WriteUnite Youth Advisory Group will make the final selection for those who will be part of the exhibition. They might ask for some help from you to pick along the way so keep an eye on our social media or sign up for our newsletter to make sure you know if they do!

I want to change my submission, is that possible?

Unfortunately we can’t change submissions once they have been made.

I didn’t make a copy of the submissions; can I get it back?

Sorry but once submissions have been made we cannot return them, but you will be able to see it again once it’s published!

What do you do with the money you raise?

WriteUnite is a non-profit organisation that exists thanks to the generosity of donations and the sales of our books and products.

All our money goes towards providing opportunities and resources to children to help them feel empowered and able to create a better future for themselves, their communities and the world.
