You can help by purchasing one of our books or donating to WriteUnite

This is your chance to tell the world how you feel. You'll get to see your entry published in a book that will be sold and read all over the world. With the money you help raise, we will buy school kits that will help other children to go to school and learn and dream too.

  • Write or draw your thoughts on our theme
  • Anyone up to the age of 18 can take part
  • Your entry can include 1 to 800 words
  • You could write a story, a poem, draw a picture, make a poster - anything
  • You can write in your own language
  • Don't forget to add your first name, age and your country
  • Every entry will be included in our book, as long as it is appropriate
  • Send us your entries by the end of June
  • Every contributing school will receive at least one free copy of the finished book
  • You will be able to order more copies through your school or online

Terms and Conditions can be viewed here

Notes for teachers and community leaders

We'd love for you to dedicate one lesson or session to WriteUnite, inviting your class or group to respond to our theme.

If you're posting or emailing entries, please click here for the consent form that you'll need to attach to the submission in order for them to be published (one per school/group).

Notes for everyone

We will publish each young person's first name and age alongside their entry unless expressly requested not to.

All submissions are copyright free. They are gifted in perpetuity to WriteUnite and for WriteUnite to use as we see fit for the purpose of promoting the organisation and our aim to publish books to share with children around the world.
